Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio
CEO Bruce Schanzer is being accused of sexual harassment and pay discrimination charges by the company’s former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio. According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. According to Nancy, the current CEO of Cedar Realty has made some improper remarks about her breasts and also randomly calling her “babe”. CEO Schanzer is also being accused of making an imprudent comment about bringing some Double Ds to work while Nancy was drinking a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.
After the charges of pay disparity and sexual harassment was filed in court, the company has made a crucial decision to remove Nancy as Chief Operating Officer. Nancy’s meeting was canceled and removed from the company.
It was in the year 2015 when an outside investigator decided to open up the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty started probing on the said allegations. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators.
